The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Tri-State beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday through Sunday evening. Several rounds of thunderstorms in the area may produce 1-3 inches of rainfall, making flash flooding a possibility over the weekend.
Be prepared to take action should a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas and use caution when approaching dips in the highway and underpasses.
