HAMILTON, Ohio --In Hamilton, the storm hit Hanover Park hard and fast.
The wind took some swings for a ride, and hail the size of dimes fell.
Hamilton resident Justin Kornhaus had just turned out of his driveway on his was to the liquor store when the storm hit.
"All of a sudden it started hailing like crazy, and the lightning was going across the sky," he said.
The hail was "exploding" on Kornhaus' windshield, he said. "As soon as I got to the stop sign, it doubled in hail intensity."
He turned around and "ran inside, yelled for my cat, and we ran in the basement," he said.
Over on Cambridge Drive, people got hit mostly with rain.
"I could see lightning striking out across the neighbor's house," Julie Rowe said. "Pretty big lightning flashes and thunder, mostly."
The storm passed through after about 15 minutes.
