We are calling for a 9 First Warning Weather Alert Day Wednesday into early Thursday.
WEDNESDAY TIMELINE:
8 am - 12 pm: Rain / Chance Storms
12 pm - 4 pm: Rain & Isolated Storms-Chance Severe
4 pm - 9 pm: Chance rain
9 pm - 1 am: Storms / Strong to Potential Severe
While it'll be a quite night and overnight, we will likely see rain by as soon as the morning. Some areas may need an umbrella right out the door, most communities will see wet weather by 10 a.m.
This is followed by likely isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has placed us in the "SLIGHT RISK" severe weather category which usually means that we could see one or two storms turn severe, if not more.
Now, there's the continuing potential for severe weather Wednesday evening and overnight. Another round of heavy rain and thunderstorms move in from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. into early Thursday.
