Heavy snowfall overnight created covered roads and slick conditions for drivers Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service upgraded much of the area to a Winter Storm Warning early Tuesday morning until 7 a.m. Some areas could see 4-6” of snowfall, if not more.
Only one lane of Interstate 471 was clear as of 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Roads starting getting dicey Monday night as snow moved into the Tri-State; WCPO crews reported vehicles spun-out on area roadways and several inches of snow blanketing the ground.

Highway crews asked residents to stay off the roads if possible to give plenty of room for snowplow drivers to clear the way.
