COVINGTON, Ky. -- Southbound Interstate 71/75 at Kyles Lane has reopened after a crash involving semitrailers closed the road for several hours.
The two semitrailers spilled fuel and busted the median when they crashed early Thursday morning, according to Fort Mitchell police. Environmental Protection Agency officials were on scene to clean the fuel before 10 a.m.
The interstate was closed until noon because crews had to clean up and put a barrier in front of the hole in the median, police said.
First responders transported a woman to a local hospital; her injuries were not life threatening.
