Good Samaritan Hospital Chief of Cardiac Surgery, Dr. J. Michael Smith, explains the recent certification of Good Sam’s Cardiac service by the Joint Commission. Dr. Smith says Good Sam is the only Cincinnati hospital with that designation. He also explains how the hospital achieved the honor, and what it means to patients.
