MASON, Ohio — Thursday was a good one for tennis pro Andrey Rublev, who scored the biggest win of his career in the Western & Southern Open. Less so for his opponent, all-time great Roger Federer, who lost 6-3, 6-4 to the Russian 21-year-old.
Federer isn’t the only tennis legend to struggle at this year’s W&S Open. Serena Williams withdrew before her second-round match, citing back pain.
