The Miami University football team will no longer play Kent State on Saturday as previously planned.
The Miami Football department tweeted Wednesday that the cancellation comes as a result of roster issues on the Kent State team from positive COVID-19 cases and subsequent contact tracing.
The game will not be rescheduled and will instead be declared a no contest.
RedHawks football coach Chuck Martin said the department is exploring any option that would allow them to play on Saturday, and are looking for an available match-up.
