CINCINNATI — Princeton senior linebacker Jaheim Thomas announced Saturday night he has verbally committed to play football at University of Cincinnati.
Thomas, who is 6 feet 4 and 220 pounds, is ranked the state’s No. 5 player overall (regardless of position) in the 2020 class by the 247 Sports Composite. He is ranked the nation’s No. 22 outside linebacker in the 2020 class by the 247 Sports Composite.
Thomas is the fifth Princeton player in the 2020 class to verbally commit to a college program. He joins offensive lineman Paris Johnson (Ohio State), defensive end Darrion Henry (Ohio State), linebacker Juan Jarrett (Kansas) and cornerback Elijah Eberhardt (Bowling Green).

Thomas also had scholarship offers from the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and others during the recruiting process.
His top seven schools included Louisville, UC, Michigan State, Maryland, Tennessee, LSU and Kentucky.
Princeton opens the season at Milford Aug. 30.
The NCAA Division I early signing period for football is Dec. 18.
