SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Colerain had it doubters after the Cardinals started the season with losses to La Salle and St. Xavier.
But coach Tom Bolden led his team to 11 straight wins and to the brink of the Ohio Division I championship game.
“We will back here next year,” Bolden said after a 41-28 loss to Pickerington Central in the state semifinal. “We will back. We just got to learn from it and take that next step again next year.”
