GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Thomas More assistant football coach Kyle Prosser was named the Oak Hills head football coach Thursday night after being approved by the Board of Education at a special meeting.

Prosser, a 2004 Oak Hills graduate, was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball and baseball) at the high school. He attended Heidelberg University and Mount St. Joseph College (now named Mount St. Joseph University) and played football. He was a three-time captain in college.

Prosser began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Mayville (Maryland) State and then joined the Mount St. Joseph coaching staff in 2009. He spent three seasons serving as the recruiting coordinator, the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach. He helped coach the Lions to the 2010 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference title.

Prosser, a 2008 Mount St. Joseph graduate, joined the Thomas More College coaching staff in 2012 as the junior varsity head coach, linebackers coach and recruiting and special teams coordinator under then-head coach Jim Hilvert, who is now at La Salle.

Prosser will serve as an Assistant Athletic Director – Fundraising and assist the Athletic Director in the daily operations of the athletic department.

Oak Hills had a 1-9 record last season under previous head coach Evan Dreyer. Anderson hired Dreyer in January to be its new football coach for the 2016 season.
