High School Insider: OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass discusses new school year

Let the school year begin.

Ohio High School Athletic Association Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass joined the WCPO High School Insider Podcast Wednesday morning to discuss a variety of topics related to high school sports.

Snodgrass and WCPO’s Mike Dyer discussed the OHSAA’s communications strategy, the start of his second year as executive director, officiating concerns, instant replay for the state football finalsand state finals venue options for basketballand football among other topics.

Snodgrass also discussed working with OHSAA Board of Directors Vice President Jan Wilking (Wyoming) and newly-appointed board of director Scott Kaufman (Lakota West) as the board prepares for a meeting this week to discuss issues for the 815 member high schools and 900 middle schools.
