The Ohio High School Athletic Association has undergone significant change during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic this year.
Despite the challenges of scheduling, attendance limitations, staffing and finances, the state's governing athletics body for high school athletics is offering every fall tournament in October and November.
The OHSAA is also looking ahead to the winter sports season which will soon officially start practice.
Tim Stried, OHSAA senior director of communications, joined the WCPO High School Insider to discuss the fall sports scene as state tournaments start this weekend with golf in the Columbus area.
Stried also discussed the challenge of scheduling state finals venues and offers a look ahead to the winter sports season with girls basketball starting official practice next week.
