The Fairfield Indians warmed up for the playoffs by dominating the Hamilton Big Blue 42-0 Friday night.
James Mitchell ran for two touchdowns and Chico Robinson had one for the 7-3 Indians. Quarterback Aaron Carmack was 10 of 19 for 201 passing yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions.
Defensively, the Indians held Hamilton (5-5) to minus-2 yards rushing and only allowed quarterback Eric Jackson to throw for 37 yards on 5 of 16 passing. They also picked off Jackson once.
This marked the fourth straight win for Fairfield over Hamilton.
