FAIRFIELD, Ohio -- Fairfield senior offensive lineman Jack Carman -- the nation’s No. 1-rated offensive tackle -- has scheduled his five official college visits.
Carman, a five-star recruit, will visit Wisconsin Sept. 29-30, Ohio State Oct. 28-29, Florida State Nov. 18-19, Clemson Dec. 8-10 and University of Southern California Dec. 15-17, according to Fairfield coach Jason Krause.
Carman told WCPO.com this summer he will announce his college decision in December.
Carman, who is 6 feet 7 and 345 pounds, is rated the nation’s No. 9 player overall in the 2018 class by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Carman, who committed to the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in October 2016, will receive his honorary game jersey at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 20 at Fairfield High School. The all-star game is Jan. 6, 2018 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. It will be televised on NBC.
The tackle is a five-star recruit and participated in Nike’s lineman competition The Opening this past summer. He’s had over 40 scholarship offers during the recruiting process including Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, USC, LSU, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Florida State, Michigan, Wisconsin, UC and several others.
