CINCINNATI — The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association announced the Southwest District boys and girls basketball teams Tuesday afternoon.

Several star players were selected from the Cincinnati-area including Winton Woods senior Tyler McKinley, who is signed with the University of Cincinnati. He was named the Division I district boys basketball player of the year.

Purcell Marian junior Dee Alexander - the 2023 Ohio Ms. Basketball recipient - was named the Division II district girls basketball player of the year.
