CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals are set to return to London in 2019 to face the L.A. Rams on Oct. 27 at Wembley Stadium.
New Bengals head coach Zac Taylor will face his former team across the pond for the first time after helping the Rams reach the Super Bowl last year. Taylor was the quarterback's coach for the Rams for one season before becoming the Bengals' head coach.
The good news for the Bengals and Taylor is the team has won their last three matchups against the Rams. The bad news is that the Rams hold an 8-5 lead in series.
Bengals DE Sam Hubbard is excited for the opportunity to play at Wembley Stadium.
"I think it's going to be a great experience considering I have never been to Europe and have always wanted to go there," Hubbard said. "My family is very excited as well. They are going to make the trip."
The matchup will be the Bengals' second in London in recent years; the team played the Washington Redskins in 2016 at Wembley Stadium before Hubbard was drafted.
The game is one of the NFL’s five international regular season games for the 2019 season. Two games will be played at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium, and two will be played at Wembley Stadium.
