CINCINNATI -- The New England Patriots signed RB Rex Burkhead as an unrestricted free agent from the Bengals, they announced Tuesday.
The Bengals drafted Burkhead, 26, in 2013. He's originally from Winchester, Kentucky.

Burkhead has played in 42 NFL games with one start. JHe played in all 16 games last season with 74 carries for 344 yards and two touchdowns, and 17 receptions for 145 yards.
