Reds Opening Day 2020 will be earliest ever

CINCINNATI — The Reds will hold their earliest Opening Day ever in 2020, hosting the Cardinals on Thursday, March 26, with the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on the same day.

The Reds' 2020 schedule, released Monday, includes interleague games against the American League East Division as well as the Battle of Ohio against the Indians, as follows:

The Reds play the Red Sox and Indians home and away. The Reds also play home series with the Rays and Orioles and away series with the Yankees and Blue Jays.

The Reds have had seven Opening Days in March with the earliest this year on March 28.

The Reds' 2020 season ends Sunday, Sept. 26 at the Pirates.
