CINCINNATI -- The Reds postponed a scheduled Tuesday night game against the Chicago Cubs as rain, hail and the threat of tornadoes advanced on Hamilton County.
The two teams will turn their May 19 game into a day-night double-header to compensate for the postponement, media relations manager Jamie Ramsey wrote in a news release.
Any fans with tickets to Tuesday night’s game can use them for the day portion of the May double-header, which will begin at 1:10 p.m.
After a rough start to their season -- three consecutive losses to the Washington Nationals -- the Reds beat the Cubs 1-0 Monday.
