CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart won the 2020 National League Rawlings Gold Glove, the team announced on Twitter Tuesday evening.

This is Barnhart's second time winning the award. He also won in 2017.

Barnhart, a 2009 10th-round draft pick, signed a four-year, $`16 million contract with the team in 2017.

Reds left fielder Shogo Akiyama was also nominated for a Gold Glove in his respective position but lost to the Cardinals' Tyler O'Neill.
