CINCINNATI - Another Olympic medal for Nick Goepper means another chance to throw the ceremonial  first pitch at a Reds game.

But this won’t be just any Reds game.

The slopestyle skier from Lawrenceburg, Indiana, will get the honors on Opening Day, the Reds announced Monday.

The 23-year-old Reds fan will probably be flashing the silver medal he won at Pyeongchang, South Korea, when he takes the mound again on March 29 before the 4:10 p.m. opener against the Nationals.

In 2014, Goepper threw the first pitch on Opening Night after winning a bronze medal at Sochi, Russia.

Additional Opening Day ceremonies will be announced in the coming weeks, the Reds said Monday.
