TAYLOR MILL, Ky. — Scott High School's principal has been charged after police said they received video showing him holding a beer bong for two underage students at a New Year's Eve party.
The Kenton County Police Department said 50-year-old Anthony Procaccino was the principal of White's Tower Elementary at the time of the video. Procaccino can be seen holding up a beer bong as two students drink. The students were identified as Scott and Simon Kenton High School students between the ages of 16 and 17.
Police said the parents of the two students have been contacted. Procaccino is charged with two counts of aiding or assisting in serving minors alcohol.
WCPO first reached out to Kenton County School District on Wednesday for comment on allegations that Procaccino was involved in underage drinking with students. At the time, a spokesperson said, "This is a personnel matter. We are cooperating with police and Cody Wolf, an assistant principal at Scott High School has been named the interim at this time."
Procaccino was principal at White's Tower for 10 years before becoming principal at Scott High School.
