COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — While some restaurants slowed down production and any plans they may have had thanks to the pandemic, Fifty West Brewing moved ahead with their expansion and opened Burger Bar.
"We said look, this is not going to stop us from accomplishing our dream," said Fifty West Founder and Managing Partner Bobby Slattery. "We've worked on this for way too long, and so, we just said, we're going to push forward, we're going to make this thing happen."
Burger Bar was modeled after a 1950's roadside rootbeer stand and is a family-friendly spot near the Little Miami Scenic Trail.
This morning we're live at 50 West Burger Bar - the newest addition to the @FiftyWestBrew campus along the Little Miami River. The new restaurant feels like a 1950's roadside root beer stand - the goal was to add a family friendly spot to the brewery. @WCPO #burgerbar #wereopen pic.twitter.com/oks2vCDTnF

Each burger on the menu is named after a state that Route 50 passes through, and each burger has a little taste of that state. The Maryland has Old Bay tarter sauce, the West Virginia has apple butter and the Ohio has Cincinnati chili, to name a few.
The beer garden at Fifty West Brewing is still closed, so Burger Bar is open for carryout from 12-8 p.m. every day at 7605 US-50. You can visit Burger Bar and Fifty West Brewing's website here for more details.
