BLUE ASH, Ohio — After calling 9565 Kenwood Rd. home for fifty years, the original Blue Ash Chili location is closing its doors.
The chili parlor, which has three locations in Greater Cincinnati, announced the closure of its first location on Facebook.
Luckily, the post also revealed the parlor is relocating about a block down Kenwood Road near a CVS Pharmacy.
The post stated the reason for the move has to do with redevelopment along the busy road.
"Due to circumstances beyond our control, the properties around the corner of Kenwood and Cooper have all been sold for redevelopment," the post explained.
Work is currently underway to convert a storefront in the shopping plaza shared by CVS for the chili parlor's new home.
"The Blue Ash community is so important to who we are, we can’t imagine our flagship store not being in the heart of Blue Ash," the post read. "We are building out a new location next door to the CVS Pharmacy, and will begin operating at the new location by the end of March 2021."
