CINCINNATI — For those looking to skip out on Cincinnati winters, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has already lined up a few options.
Starting Jan. 11, 2020, local snowbirds can have access to new, non-stop flights from CVG to Tampa, Fla. and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The service, offered by Southwest Airlines, is seasonal and will only operate on Saturdays through Feb. 29, 2020.
These locations are now in addition to the airline's nonstop offerings to Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Orlando and Phoenix.
“We are pleased Southwest continues to expand its number of nonstop destinations from CVG,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG in a press release. “Both Tampa and Fort Lauderdale/Miami are popular destinations for winter travel.”
