The statewide Amber Alert issued by the Youngstown Police Department has been canceled.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Police put out an amber alert Friday morning for a baby that was abducted from Youngstown, Ohio.

According to the Youngstown Police Department, 1-year-old Nova Sheridan was abducted by her biological father, 23-year-old Kahlil Sheridan, after he broke into Nova's mother's home in Youngstown around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Nova is about 2-feet tall, weighs about 35 lbs., has black hair and brown eyes and has birthmarks on her nose and left arm.

Kahlil is 6-foot-2-inches tall, weighs about 210 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a dark blue 2008 Volvo S60 with an Ohio license plate number of K418739.
