Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb announced Wednesday that he will extend his state’s mandatory mask requirement until at least Sept. 25.
Under Holcomb’s mandate, which went into effect in July, masks are required for anyone over the age of 7 in indoor public spaces, including stores, on shared transportation and in outdoor locations where social distancing is not possible.
Exemptions can be made for people who have a medical condition preventing mask-wearing, people who are performing strenuous physical activity and people who are eating or drinking.
