Two people were killed in a crash in Jennings County, Indiana early Tuesday morning, police said.
Indiana State Police responded to the crash on State Road 3 near County Road 650. Troopers said David Seropian, 20 of Scottsburg, was driving a 2005 Toyota Scion when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Seropian was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, police said.
Passenger Shaylla Jones, 21 of Scottsburg, also died at the scene, according to the county coroner.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, though state police said toxicology results are pending.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
