CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police have charged a man with killing a woman he lived with in their Westwood home in May.

David Horsley, 61, is accused of killing 39-year-old Melissa Johnson on May 25 at 2700 Harrison Ave.

Police said a 911 call was made requesting medical assistance for a woman who was unresponsive. Johnson was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she later died. The homicide unit responded and began an investigation.

Horlsey was previously indicted on May 31 for raping and kidnapping another woman "on or about" May 24, the day before he's accused of killing Johnson, according to court documents. He was arrested on those charges on May 26.

Horsely is now at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

The investigation in to Johnson’s death is ongoing, said police.
