CRESCENT SPRINGS, Ky. -- Drivers will see rolling roadblocks on Interstate 275 Tuesday as crews work to repair potholes.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews will be on eastbound Interstate 275 at 9 a.m. Workers will repair potholes on a 4-mile stretch between Mineola Pike (Exit 2) and Turkeyfoot Road (Exit 82).
Nancy Wood, spokeswoman for Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, said fluctuating temperatures and weather condition has placed Northern Kentucky “on pothole overload.”
Monday’s repairs will only be temporary, Wood said, because crews won’t have all the materials they need to make permanent repairs until March, when asphalt plants open.
“Unfortunately, we could fill them today and they could pop back out by the end of the day,” Wood said.
Crews worked on the westbound side of the interstate Monday.
