ERLANGER, Ky. — Authorities are investigating after a passerby found a body in a creek Saturday afternoon, according to Lt. Jon Sterling. Police have identified the body as likely being 43-year-old Jennifer Webster of Sparta, Ky.
Authorities said an autopsy and further investigation are pending, and a cause of death has not yet been identified.
The passerby saw a woman's body in the creek bed along Erlanger Road near Houston Road at about 3:29 p.m. Saturday, Sterling said.
The woman has light brown to blonde hair and a thin build. She was wearing rings on every finger and a chain around her neck with two crosses on it.
It's not clear whether foul play is suspected.
The situation is under investigation.
