Erlanger Fire Dept. mourns loss of retired Chief Terry Allen

ERLANGER, Ky. — Members of the Erlanger Fire and EMS department are mourning the loss of retired fire Chief Terry Allen, who passed away over the weekend, the department announced Sunday.

Allen dedicated himself to the City of Erlanger for 33 years, working in the Public Works department before joining the Erlanger Fire Department. Allen served as the department's fire marshall, captain, assistant chief and fire chief before retiring in 2013. Allen started the Erlanger Fire Explorer Program and Honor Guard during his time with the department.
