2 killed in head-on crash in Pendleton County

BUTLER, Ky. — Two people died Thursday night in a head-on crash in Pendleton County, Kentucky State Police said.

The crash occurred on State Route 27 in Butler at approximately 9:40 p.m.

Police said the driver of a 2000 Saturn car and one passenger were killed when their vehicle struck a 2016 Toyota Tundra head-on.

Donald Killion and Patricia Killion of Falmouth were pronounced dead at the scene. A child was airlifted from the scene, according to KSP’s preliminary investigation. Her condition is unknown.

The driver of the Toyota did not require medical attention, police said.

KSP is investigating the cause of the crash.
