RISING SUN, Ind. -- A 17-year-old was killed in a crash Tuesday morning.
Dylan Levi, 16, of Rising Sun, was driving a 1990 Chevrolet Truck southbound on State Road 56 at about 7 a.m. about one mile south of Rising Sun, according to Indiana State Police. Levi crossed the center line for an unknown reason and collided head-on with a northbound 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Micayla Acra, 17, of Milan.
Acra was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Indiana State Police.
Levi sustained minor injuries in the collision. Police said he was treated and released from a local hospital.
The investigation into the crash was still ongoing. Police said wet roads may have been a contributing factor. Drug and alcohol use were not suspected.
