Dearborn Co. Sheriff's Office identifies man killed in West Harrison hit-and-run crash, locates driver

WEST HARRISON, Ind. — The Dearborn County Sheriff's Office has located a pickup truck driver Wednesday who allegedly fled after striking and killing a man in West Harrison early Sunday morning.

Police said that at about 2:35 a.m., the driver of a dark-colored Chevrolet or GM full-size truck struck the man near Whitewater Motors along Harrison Brookville Road. Police identified the man killed as 25-year-old Casey Webb of Cincinnati.

Authorities did not release the driver's identity and will provide another update once charges have been filed. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Indiana State Police.
