An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Dearborn County, according to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to Prosperity Ridge Road in Dillsboro at around 1:24 a.m., according to officials.
Police said one person is in custody in connection with the shooting and charges are still forthcoming.
Officials have not yet provided a name for the victim, nor have they released any information about the suspect.
