CINCINNATI — A nonprofit in Over-the-Rhine hopes to feed tens of thousands of families in the Tri-State for Thanksgiving.
Freestore Foodbank is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Holiday Food Distribution from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at 112 East Liberty Street. The foodbank will distribute meals at the same time and location on Tuesday.
Each household will receive a bag of produce, a turkey and a box containing holiday food items.

Freestore Foodbank fed about 18,000 people in the Tri-State last year, according to President and CEO Kurt Reiber. Reiber said he expects to see a similar amount of people this year.
It takes about 900 volunteers to execute the Thanksgiving distribution, Reiber said.
