CINCINNATI — To celebrate 150 years of delighting Cincinnati with frozen treats, Graeter’s Ice Cream unveiled a new look for its signature pints this week.

The new chocolate-brown labels highlight ice cream ingredients in bold colors, a change from the classic white and colored ribbon look of the current design. Graeter’s last updated their packaging six years ago.

"Our new packaging reflects how we’ve grown as a brand over the last 150 years," said Richard Graeter, fourth-generation owner and Graeter’s president and CEO. "We’re proud of where we landed on the new pint design, and we hope ice cream lovers everywhere will continue to find our truly handcrafted flavors in stores across the country.”

You can expect the new pints to hit freezer shelves later this summer on flavors like salted caramel, Oregon strawberry and cookies & cream.

All flavors will bear the new design by early 2020, when the French pot ice cream maker turns 150.
