Fentanyl is a powerful narcotic that is killing people by the hundreds. It was made to be used for surgeries or for patients suffering from cancer. But, like other narcotics, it is being abused.
It's being made in underground labs, and this region has become a hotspot for its illegal trade. Deaths due to fentanyl have more than doubled in one year in Hamilton County.
It's so fatal it's as if a plague has descended.
