President Donald Trump is set to address the nation at 9 p.m. Tuesday with a speech that’s expected to touch on funding for a border wall and the government shutdown. Following the president’s address, leaders of the Democratic Party will be given the chance to respond.

Before we hear what our nation’s leaders have to say, let’s get one question out of the way — yes, regularly scheduled programming will air in its entirety.

Here is the network’s schedule and what it means for 9 On Your Side viewers:

  • ABC News will carry President Trump’s primetime address in its entirety starting at 9 p.m. Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos will lead the coverage.
  • A special report will follow with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer. They will deliver a response to the president’s remarks.
  • Watch coverage and analysis on ABCNews.com and ABC News Live, the network’s 24/7 breaking news and live events streaming channel.
  • Scheduled primetime programming will follow the special report including 9 On Your Side at 11 p.m.
  • ABC News expects coverage of the address to last approximately 15 minutes. To be safe, record the program you want to watch, plus, several of the programs that follow to make sure the show or newscast is recorded in full (all programming after 9 p.m. will be delayed).
