An Air Quality Advisory is in effect Thursday for the following areas:
OHIO
- Hamilton
- Butler
- Clermont
- Warren
KENTUCKY
- Campbell
- Boone
INDIANA
- Dearborn
But what in the world does that actually mean?
You know I've got you covered. On hot and humid days, pollution builds up in cities like Cincinnati, making the air unhealthy for people with respiratory issues. This would include those with respiratory disease or even asthma. It impacts the young and old the most.
The sky can even look a bit more hazy in the afternoon due to this pollution.
While a lot of us may not be impacted, we can all do our part to help. We can reduce pollution by carpooling, biking, walking and using bus services. It's also recommended not to idle in your car or use gas powered lawn equipment.
