WARREN COUNTY, Ohio — Brooke Skylar Richardson entered a Warren County courtroom for the first time in months on Monday for a pretrial hearing.
During the proceeding that lasted less than five minutes, Assistant County Prosecutor David Knippen indicated there has been no plea offer in the case, the Journal-News reports.
Both sides said they are ready for the September trial, but a final pretrial hearing was scheduled for Aug. 19.

The Carlisle teen is accused of killing her newborn baby girl and burying her in the backyard of her parents’ house in May 2017.
Richardson, now 19, is charged with aggravated murder, involuntary manslaughter, gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and child endangering in the death of her infant daughter. She is free on bond.
