MASON, Ohio -- A good Samaritan was killed Friday night when she stopped to help people involved in a crash.
Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Butler Warren Road near Heritage Club Drive at about 10:30 p.m., according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
A woman who was driving by pulled over and parked. She was walking over to help when another car hit her and the two cars. She was killed in the collision.
Deputies didn't immediately release the woman's identity.
Authorities don't believe alcohol or drugs were a factor. They didn't say if any charges would be filed.
The investigation is still pending.
