LEBANON, Ohio -- Two people are injured after an industrial incident in Lebanon.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at VisTech Manufacturing on South West Street.
Lebanon Fire Chief Perry Gerome said two employees -- a man and a woman -- got their arms stuck in an industrial machine at the site.
The workers suffered “crushing injuries from their elbow down.” Investigators said it appears a template malfunctioned and closed on the workers while their hands were inside the machine.
The victims were taken to Atrium Medical Center. The condition of their injuries has not been made clear.
Gerome said there have been three fires at the site in the past year. VisTech declined to comment but said they are “glad the injuries are not as severe as they thought.”
No other details have been released.
