INITIAL REPORT
Wind gusts caused over 300 power outages across the Tri-State Wednesday as crews work to get the power back on for over 32,000 customers.
According to Duke Energy’s outage map, about 18,000 in Hamilton County are without power, with large pockets of Kenwood, Milford and Sixteen Mile Stand affected. In Clermont County, about 11,000 customers are without power.
High winds had knocked out power for about 2,300 customers in the Northside and Cumminsville areas earlier on Wednesday. Outages were also reported for about 1,600 in Hamilton. Florence, Kentucky also saw about 1,000 without power Wednesday morning.
Other various outages were reported in pockets all over the Tri-State. According to the outage map, Duke estimates power will be restored at about 7:45 p.m.

A wind advisory will remain in effect for most of the Tri-State until 9 p.m.
