CINCINNATI — Starting September 6, theater and music fans may want to consider arriving a bit earlier for performances at the Aronoff Theater and Music Hall, to allow extra time to get through newly-implemented metal detectors.
New safety and security procedures to be implemented after Sept. 6 include bag searches, hand-held metal detector screenings and searches for prohibited items. Luggage, oversized bags and backpacks will no longer be allowed inside, and purses or other small bags will be searched prior to entry.
The security changes are nothing strange for many music venues in Cincinnati, like Bogarts or Riverbend facilities, but the extra steps will make getting through the line at Music Hall and Aronoff a bit slower.
