  • Franklin County -- Yellow travel advisory

In general, a Level 1 Snow Emergency cautions drivers and requires all parked cars to be removed from public streets to allow road crews to treat the roadways. A Level 2 Snow Emergency means drivers should not travel, and Level 3 emergencies mean roads are closed to non-emergency personnel.

In Indiana, yellow travel advisories are the lowest level, and individuals should use caution while driving in those areas. During an orange advisory, officials recommend only essential travel, like driving to and from work or in emergency situations. During a red advisory, travel may be restricted to emergency management workers only.
