VILLA HILLS, Ky. — A Northern Kentucky man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl is now behind bars in Kenton County.
Aaron S. Hacker, 48, stands charged with second degree rape after police were alerted to his behavior by the girl's father. The victim's young relatives recorded Hacker "making incriminating statements" before notifying the child's father, police said.
The victim told investigators at the NKY Children's Advocacy Center that Hacker had raped her, leading to Hacker's arrest on Friday.
Hacker was arraigned Monday in Kenton District Court, and Judge Douglas Grothaus set bond at $100,000 cash. Hacker will appear in court again July 7.
