KENTON COUNTY, Ky. — A Park Hills man has been indicted on rape charges relating to the abuse of two children under the age of 12.
On Thursday, the Kenton County Grand Jury returned a twelve count indictment charging Joshua Robert Turner, 31, with first degree rape, first degree sodomy, promoting a sexual performance by a minor and other felony offenses related to sexual assaults on two minor children.
According to the warrant, the mother of one victim discovered a video recording of sexual assault against one of the victims when looking through a cell phone she had loaned to Turner and contacted police. Investigators identified Turner using tattoos seen in the video recordings.
Turner is scheduled to be arraigned on December 8. He is currently being held in the Kenton County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
Investigators said there is currently no evidence that suggests there could be additional victims, but investigators are still looking into Turner's social circles to see if he had access to any other children.
